The Wall Street Journal: Warner buys David Bowie’s music catalog for about $250 million

Warner Chappell Music has bought the music-publishing rights to David Bowie’s music catalog from the singer’s estate. 

The deal includes the late artist’s entire body of work, which includes hundreds of songs over a six-decade career.  Bowie died in 2016 after a cancer diagnosis. He was 69.
