Shares of Carnival Corp. rallied Tuesday, after Wells Fargo’s Daniel Politzer backed away from his long-time bearish call, saying his concerns about the cruise operator now seem “de-risked.”
The stock CCL climbed 6.1% to $9.33, and was among the S&P 500 index’s SPX top gainers. The gain reversed the 4.8% drop suffered on Monday in the wake of the company’s disappointing outlook for losses in the current quarter and the full fiscal year.
