More than 4 million people should start looking for their cut of a settlement between TurboTax INTU and attorneys general over allegations the tax software giant tricked consumers into thinking it was doing their taxes for free.

Intuit, the owner of TurboTax, reached a $141 million settlement last year and now 4.4 million consumers across the country should look out for checks that could be as much as $85, according to New York State Attorney General Letitia James.
