Dow Jones Newswires: Wizz Air passenger numbers rose significantly on year in November

Wizz Air Holdings PLC said Friday that it carried significantly more passengers in November on year.

The Central and Eastern European low-cost airline said it carried 3.7 million passengers in November compared with 2.2 million for the same month a year earlier, a 70% increase.

For the rolling 12-month period, Wizz Air carried 44.1 million passengers compared with 19.8 million a year earlier.

Load factor–a measure of how full a plane is–was 88.1% in the month compared with 76.1% in 2021, up 12.0 percentage points.
