Dow Jones Newswires: Ryanair extends CEO Michael O’Leary’s contract to 2028

Ryanair Holdings PLC said late Wednesday that Michael O’Leary will remain as chief executive officer until at least July 2028.

said that the contract extension comes after months of discussions with the CEO and engagement with shareholders.

“During this time Michael will oversee the group’s growth to 225 million passengers per year and, with board support and oversight, develop the group’s strategy to the end of the decade,” Chairman Stan McCarthy said.
