said Tuesday that third-quarter sales from disinfection services fell, in line with the board’s expectations, and that revenue rose 19% at actual exchange rates.

The London-listed pest-control, hygiene and workwear services provider said revenue for the quarter was 901.3 million pounds ($1.03 billion), a 10% rise at constant exchange rates.

Stripping out the disinfection-unit, revenue was GBP897 million. On a continuing basis, which strips out sold or closed businesses, revenue was GBP900.9 million.

The FTSE 100 company said that sales from disinfection services were GBP3.6 million, or GBP8.6 million lower than in the year-prior period.

The company said it maintained its full-year outlook for the underlying business.

“Supported by the essential nature of our services and ability to offset cost inflation through pricing, we continue to deliver both good growth and profitability, while retaining high levels of customer and colleague retention,” Chief Executive Andy Ransom said.
