Dow Jones Newswires: Renault confirms outlook as revenue climbs on pricing power, strong sales

Renault SA on Thursday said that revenue rose in the first quarter on strong pricing power and higher sales, and confirmed its outlook for the year.

said revenue reached 11.5 billion euros ($12.6 billion) compared with EUR9.75 billion in the same period last year, a 30% increase.

Renault sold 535,000 vehicles worldwide in the first three months of 2023, 14% more than in the same quarter last year. Renault’s sales figures no longer include operations in Russia, the company said.

The company, which has a 2023 operating margin target of 6% or higher, confirmed its outlook for the full year.
