Dow Jones Newswires: Remy Cointreau confirms outlook as revenue rises

By Kim Richters

Remy Cointreau SA on Tuesday confirmed its outlook for fiscal 2023 after second-quarter sales increased.

The French cognac maker said sales for the July-to-September period rose to 457.2 million euros ($451.5 million) from EUR352.2 million a year earlier.

For the current fiscal year, the company sees strong organic growth with a normalization of consumption trends in the second half. It expects its gross margin to be resilient despite an inflationary environment, and it plans to tightly control overhead costs, Remy said.
