Dow Jones Newswires: Nissan to stop production at its plant in St. Petersburg, Russia

expects production at its plant in St. Petersburg, Russia, to stop in the coming days, the Japanese auto maker said Monday, without providing a reason.

Nissan said it had also suspended exports of vehicles to Russia.

The company said it would spend 2.5 million euros ($2.7 million) to support the people of Ukraine as well as affected employees and their families as part of its humanitarian aid efforts.
