CrowdStrike flirts with historic stock gains as it closes in on Palo Alto Networks

Against a tough backdrop for cybersecurity stocks, CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. delivered big with its latest earnings — and that performance has the stock flirting with a historic rally.

CrowdStrike’s stock CRWD was up as much as 22.7% in morning trading Wednesday, though it had recently pulled back and was up 16.1%. A gain upwards of 17.4% would make for its largest single-day percentage increase on record.
