Key Words: ‘My goal: Clean up and focus on transparency’: says former FTX CEO Sam Bankman Fried

In a series of tweets on Tuesday afternoon, Sam Bankman-Fried, the former chief executive of fallen crypto exchange FTX, loosely outlined his goals going forward.

“My goal — my one goal — is to do right by customers. I’m contributing what I can to doing so. I’m meeting in-person with regulators and working with the teams to do what we can for customers. After that, investors. But first, customers,” said Bankman-Fried in a tweet.

Bankman-Fried, who has been active on Twitter throughout the fall of FTX in the past week, tweeted out confusing and sporadic messages earlier this week, leading to different theories online as to what he was communicating, and some showing concern for his well-being. But the tweets continued as usual on Tuesday.

“14) My goal: a) Clean up and focus on transparency b) Make customers whole,” he tweeted, in an ongoing thread that he started on Sunday night.

FTX filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last week. Over the weekend, there are reports some customer funds that were hacked.

The former FTX CEO couldn’t be reached for comment.
