Dow Jones Newswires: Puma’s new CEO Arne Freundt takes reins immediately as incumbent moves to Adidas top job

Puma SE said Tuesday that Arne Freundt will take over immediately as chief executive, ahead of schedule, after incumbent CEO Bjorn Gulden was named to lead rival Adidas AG.

said last week that Mr. Freundt, currently chief commercial officer of the German sportswear company, would take over as CEO from the beginning of 2023. However, with Tuesday’s announcement that Mr. Gulden will become Adidas
